Over the weekend, the President of the United States decried Article One of the U.S. Constitution as bullshit, threatened relations with the UK over his private business and accused Democrats of murdering new born babies. He called both the Mueller investigation and climate change hoaxes. He blamed the Vietnam summit collapse on Michael Cohen.
As Congressional investigations get underway, subpoenas fly and the Mueller report rapidly approaches, expect Trump and his cohort to double down on crazy. Chaos is their friend and chaos is easy to generate from the White House.
A buddy of mine asked me today what I thought would happen this week. I could honestly answer I had no idea as we’ve been conditioned through two years of gaslighting, manufactured crisis and threats to expect anything that comes our way as somehow normal. I’m of the opinion that there will be a lot of crazy talk but probably not crazy actions, yet.
Unless Mueller slaps handcuffs on Commander Babyfingers, which I highly doubt, the President and his enablers, both foreign and domestic, don’t need to hit the panic button just yet. Trump’s Senate toads will prevent removing him from office because they already know all the stuff the House will discover in hearings over the coming months – they were a part of it and their behavior over the last two years shows they’re cool with it. Rather than take a good, long look in the mirror at the corruption evident to anyone who can read, the Republican Senate will join Trump’s chaos chorus to distract.
Right now what Trump and his minions are doing is laying the groundwork for when they do hit the panic button. We heard from a pillow magnate who claimed Trump was chosen by God to lead us, from Senator Ted Cruz how evil socialists want to take away our hamburgers and from the President on how Democrats are hurting the country and must be confronted with bold action (and typeface). Jerry Falwell jr and Don Trump jr pumped each others’ limp manhood with gun talk, while Junior’s blow up sex doll Kim Guilfoyle told people the Democrats are murderers, conveniently forgetting that right wing nutjubs committed every deadly American terror attack in 2018.
It’s going to get a whole lot crazier because for the many politicians and businessmen in this Presidential racketeering scam it’s the end of the world, at least for them. And because it’s the end of their world, they want their followers to believe it’s the end of everyone’s. Expect more bible quotes from Marco Rubio.
The Republicans will step up their dehumanization of opponents to defend the President as investigations close in. Democrats and “babykillers” will be seeded into their minds as often as possible because that’s historically what you do to encourage mass murder – the anti-German babykiller propaganda of WWI, the blood libel against Jews, or the accusations hurled at the start of the post-Yugoslav wars immediately come to mind.
The assault on reality will accelerate as Fox, Sinclar and a host of “conservative” news sites mindfuck the American people with a hurricane of lies to bury what the investigations will likely reveal – that our President is a mobbed-up Rodney Dangerfield on Adderall with the nuclear codes.
